Yesterday, Poly softball went to take on the Bell Garden and unfortunately took a loss. As they only managed 4 hits, by Rochelle Moreno, Evany Galaviz, and Jazlyn and Jackie Gallardo. They managed to get 2 runs with an RBI by Raechel Gardea. Together, pitcher Isabella Navarro and Jackie Gallardo gave up 5 runs to Bell Garden. This brings Poly's record to 2-3 with 2 wins and 3 losses. 

Poly then took on the South Gate rams and had an excellent game leading to a win. They managed to get 15 runs in 16 hits. They scored 3 in the first inning, then had a great 2nd inning with 7 runs, and finally 5 runs in the 3rd. Jackie Gallardo had 3 hits with 4 RBIs, and Evany Galaviz had 3 hits and 4 RBI's. Tayla Collins had 2 hits, one being a homerun, and overall, the team together had some great at bats. Isabella Navarro had 3 strikeouts and only gave up 2 runs. These girls did an incredible job and hopefully we can see some more of this throughout the season.
